Central Cee and Lil Baby’s track “BAND4BAND” is a quirky collaboration that perfectly blends their distinct styles. Released in May 2024, the song merges Central Cee’s gritty UK drill vibes with Lil Baby’s smooth Atlanta rap, creating an oddly catchy sound. This song has become my go-to makeup song. Every time I sit down and need a pick me up, I play this song. The catchy hook and fast melody make me hurry up and get to school on time (...most days)!

While the song is deeply rooted in Kendrick’s own experiences and observations, its themes of identity, struggle, and resilience are universally relatable. This makes the track not only a standout on the Euphoria album but also a powerful anthem for anyone who has ever felt different or marginalized. Like Kendrick said "They not like us"

Every time I miss my best friend this song plays in the background of my head. Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” from her 2024 album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, is a hauntingly beautiful track that showcases her signature blend of ethereal vocals and introspective lyrics. The song opens with a delicate, almost ghostly melody that immediately sets a mood and a tone. Throughout the song, Billie Elish shows us through her tone and lyrics how connections are made and how strong they are. How a shared emotion feeling, or experience can tie certain people together and unify us. What makes “Birds of a Feather” truly special is its universality. While the song is deeply personal, its themes of connection and shared experiences are generally relatable. This makes the track not only a standout on the HIT ME HARD AND SOFT album but also a powerful anthem for anyone who has ever felt a deep bond with another person.
